Minecraft Update 18 Is officially Live

We are aware that Minecraft version 1.8 (also called the "Adventure Update") is available via semi-official methods since late last week, following an Mojang developer leaked the update with the studio's blessing. If you're not interested in searching for the file,, you can now grab the patch via the Minecraft launcher, where it has been made available to all users.

We know this won't affect our more knowledgeable readers If you share our anxiety about downloading a game update that is secretly an illegal bestiality porno virus, you can now download the update without that particular worry.
