Minecraft to Create Portals between Servers Eventually

Minecraft maestro Markus Persson recently updated his blog with a status report on his new studio, Mojang Specifications and information about the upcoming Halloween update to the game. He also mentions that Mojang currently has six employees, which includes three programmers and a pixel artist, as well as a CEO.

Persson said that the Halloween update will contain six new types of blocks that have five "unique capabilities". A new monster, a new dimension and portals will be included. Persson revealed in a subsequent tweet that the portals will eventually be able to connect to different Minecraft servers, but this feature isn't expected to be in place in the near future.
