Minecraft is already a very clever game, but it could look better, right? There's one weird way people can redesign things with ease at the moment, and that's AI. Thanks to images from Dall-E running rampant around the internet, AI is a big thing at the moment, so it was only a matter of time until someone gave Minecraft the AI treatment.

Mysticat can usually be found working on tanks with their friends and shooting them. But, it was time we discovered the true potential Mojang's Voxel Universe. They use a variety of AI systems to alter the game's appearance and sound. Soundraw is used for music and sound effects and Craiyon to create textures. You can follow along with each AI used in the video. Each small change quickly adds to the total.

All of these small changes can lead to a strange end result. While some blocks like dirt look great, the PNG images for plants and the horrifying faces some of the Minecraft mobs create are terrifying. lalalalal The sound effects are particularly disturbing, with each animal sounding exactly like what you would hear if the world was under attack by demons.

This is a plus because we are pretty certain that this is all the evidence anyone could need to prove that people should be designing games and AI sites. This could also indicate that the inevitable machine uprising may still be a ways off. Although if Minecraft's Warden ever becomes real and makes it out of the game we're in a huge amount of trouble.
