Self-care is not just about a day at the spa and pampering oneself. Self-care has to do with establishing wholesome boundaries, allowing and receiving, pacing ourselves, honoring ourselves, nourishing ourselves, connecting with our Self, enriching our Soul.
A self-care practice entails taking time for ourselves. It includes carrying out what is great for us. It requires becoming variety and compassionate toward ourselves. It involves believing and investing in ourselves. It requires expecting to be taken care of correctly, to be treated with respect, kindness and care. It entails standing up for ourselves. It entails saying No to one thing if taking it on will overwhelm us. It entails implementing a healthful way of life program. It includes taking very good care of all aspects of our personal life.
When we take care of ourselves, when we are good, type and compassionate towards ourselves, we are showing ourselves Enjoy. When we knowledge self-adore, then we are capable of becoming in Loving Relationships. As well typically although, we judge ourselves for falling short of some normal. We have limiting believes about who we are and our talents. We question our worthiness, or at least walk all around feeling unworthy. Sometimes we have above inflated egos as safety against this soreness. We may well not even be mindful of this underlying driver. When we nurture the connection with ourselves, we are displaying ourselves Worthiness.
