Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Self-emptying bases make robot vacuums worth the cost, particularly for those who have large homes. This means that you don't have to empty the bin more than once every time you run. It makes your floors more clean and it will run more often.

Its Lidar navigation does a great job of mapping, and you can use the app to create zones and cleaning schedules. But it wasn't able to avoid obstacles like shoes or furniture legs, and neither did the j7 or Q Revo.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first iRobot. The Combo J7+ combines the great iRobot j7 robot vacuum and adds a reservoir of water, a robotic arms that can raise and lower mopping mats, and new sensors. The result is a highly powerful two-in-one cleaner, which we discovered to be superior to mopping-free robotic vacuums.

The Combo J7+ isn't equipped with the additional smart mopping features of our top choice, but it still does an excellent job of cleaning. It comes with a powerful brush roll that is effective on both hard floors and carpeted areas. It can fit between rugs and furniture without difficulty, even on steep stairs. It has a strong suction that we were impressed with, even though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.

What sets the Combo j7+ apart from other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that makes use of the small, rotating brush to scrub the floor. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it works by moving back and forth, similar to the way you scrub a floor using a mop. It can be turned on for each room of the house in the iRobot app.

The j7 Plus is simple to use and set up as other iRobot Robots. It is also easy to maintain. The water tank and the dust bin are both removable, so they're simple to clean. The iRobot app lets you watch videos about how to maintain different components of the machine, including changing the mopping pads, and cleaning the dust bin.

The only real downside is that you can mop with the iRobot Combo if your mopping pad is attached and if its 210 ml tank is full. If one of these is missing, it just vacuums. The iRobot App lets you monitor the water tank and receive notifications when it is low.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a low-cost robot that does an excellent job vacuuming and mopping. The mopping efficiency, especially when compared to its price, is impressive. It is able to mop well on carpets and hard floors and picks up fine to large particles (think: hair tangles, Kitty litter, cereals of various sizes). It also excels at cleaning dried spills, messes and staining. It also cleans stairs and easy-to-get-stuck areas well.

The mopping system makes use of the rotating pad to scrub your floors using water and lift dirt and grime, even on stubbed-on spots. The pad is also thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to avoid unpleasant odors and mold. You can control the robot via the Roborock App or your voice to begin mopping, change settings and more.

The vacuuming is also top-quality. It has a powerful suction and high-efficiency filter that can handle small to massive debris effortlessly. The only drawback is that it does not perform as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power 10 percent of pet hair was left on the test surface. This is not unheard of.

The Q Revo is a fantastic product that is able to provide excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has superb mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as good as the top-quality robot mop and vacuum, however it's an excellent choice for those who is on a budget. Additionally, it can charge up to 30% more than previous versions and works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot of ease for a small amount of money. 3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that operates well and has excellent features at a reasonable price. The set-up was simple and took just five minutes. After taking off the tape for manufacturing and protective plastic and a quick scan of the QR code in the app starts you off. The app is simple and walks you through the process in a simple manner. Once it is set up, you are able to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app allows you to divide rooms into smaller sections to allow them to be targeted more precisely. You can draw a kitchen map, and another one for the living room. The robot will then sweep the floors at different times in each room.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tried. robotvacuummops is an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than the others and features a dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The mop pad, which is reusable, is a separate item, slipping into the top of the robot and being attached to a handle at the front to make it easy to remove and refilling.

The vacuum is as efficient as any robot I've ever examined, and it comes with two side brushes instead of the single brush found on many models. This improves the coverage area and decreases the chance of debris getting lost around walls and furniture. However, it does have some issues with object detection and a tendency to move at full speed through objects, such as a tassel rug in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a capable robot mop that can do its job well and keeps your hard floors looking beautiful every day. It can't do the vacuuming jobs of the other hybrids on this list, and doesn't transition onto carpet or rugs like they do, but it comes with a long battery life, smart mopping features and is a good choice for maintaining your hard floors in a smaller to mid-sized house.

It works in dry sweeping mode, too, cleaning up to 1,000 square feet on one charge. It can also map your floor plan using the iRobot app, and can clean rooms in sequence with compatible Roomba vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precise sprays to dilut the floors in straight lines. It was fascinating to watch, and it was able to eliminate even the most stubborn dried-in coffee and juice stains from my floors. It can be set to use less water or more than the maximum amount specified by the app.

The iRobot application is among the best on the market and makes syncing to your home wifi easy. It offers a number of user-friendly functions like scheduling, partitioning rooms, and establishing no-go zones. This gives you total control over the device. It also shows how much power is left in the battery so you know how long it will last before it has to be recharged or docked. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the M6 is currently on sale). It comes in white and graphite.

5. Shark RV2610WA

There's no denying that vacuum and mop robots are a convenient method of keeping your home clean without having to lift a finger however they do have hefty prices. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop with XLHEPA Self-Empty base, which we tested, costs $699 or PS559, which is roughly 1,054 AUD. Forgo the charging base and you'll still have to spend $549/PS395/about $775 AUD.

The Shark RV2610WA is a good choice for those looking for a versatile robot that can tackle both mopping and vacuuming. It can be used to deep clean stains that are difficult to remove using the stain-lifting device included in the box. The app allows you to program the machine to clean at a particular day and time, and it is equipped with an intelligent feature that allows you to control the robot when you're away from home.

As far as vacuuming goes in the vacuuming department, the Shark performs well and can remove most debris, but it's not as impressive on carpets. It's easy to trap pet hair in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can fill up quite quickly. It also has a variety of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which could increase the cost over time.

For the price There are better choices on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on both bare floors and carpets with a lot of pile. It's more sturdy and has a larger dust bin and can get over obstacles like electrical cords with ease. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive, but is worth it if your goal is an all-purpose vacuum that will accomplish both tasks effortlessly.
