Added Allay duplication

Tweaked Sculk Catalysts

Chat Trust status added

New Options for Chat Preview

Reporting from Added Player

Allays will dance along to a Record played in a Jukebox

If the Allay is handed an Amethyst Shard while dancing it will duplicate

Duplication requires a 5-minute cooldown

Sculk Catalysts now drop 5 XP, instead of 20.

Moved the chat scrollbar from the left to the right

When typing a message, the signing status of the displayed chat message is shown with a colored indicator

If chat preview is being used the indicator will be visible to the left side of the chat input field or to the right side of the chat preview

The indicator will be blue when the displayed message is signed

Chat Preview is enabled, and the indicator will turn orange. A preview is currently being signed

The background of the chat preview may also appear slightly faded if a preview is awaiting to be signed

Added a warning toast when connecting to a server that doesn't enforce secure chat

The Social Interactions screen now shows entries for players who have seen recent messages at the top. Minecraft Servers

Messages that have not been signed using the Secure Chat system or have been tampered on by the server are now marked

Not Secure: Messages without valid signatures or missing signatures will be marked.

Modified messages are marked "Modified"

The trust status of messages are displayed with both a colored indicator and an icon

The colored indicator is always visible

The icon will only be visible if the chat screen has been opened

Clicking on the icon will give you more information about your trust status

For modified messages, the original secure text will also be displayed in the tooltip

System messages (nonplayer chat, such command output) are displayed in gray with a color indicator

Chat Previews now available when you send a message.

To confirm sending a text message, a second hit on the Enter/Return key will be required

The previous "ON" setting has been renamed to "While Typing"

In "While Typing" mode, the chat preview will no longer display previews if the message has not been modified by the server

Chat Preview is now available in singleplayer. This will display when you use selector substitutions like /say

Previewed hover events, click events, and other events are highlighted with a solid backdrop

Reporting a player who sends abusive messages to the game chat is now possible. To provide the best context for our moderators to take appropriate action, a reporter will need to select the messages in chat that contain the offensive content. This information is accessible via the social interactions screen.

Multiple chat messages may be selected to report

Additional chat messages regarding this selection will be used to provide additional context for our moderation staff.

You can choose which report category you want from the list of Report Categories

The Report Categories screen includes a "Learn More About Reporting" button, which links to a help page.

Additional comments can be entered to provide more details and information regarding the report

For more information, see this article about Player Reporting and our Reporting FAQ.

If you have been removed from online play, the game will now display a notice screen upon startup

It is also shown why the suspension was instituted and for how long.

A message that has been filtered by the Java Realms Profanity Filter will now be marked with a yellow marker

Players will be notified if a chat message they have sent has been fully filtered for one or more receiving players on the Realm

The chat input field will not be applicable to custom fonts that have negative advances, or glyphs whose advances exceed 32.

Chat types that were added to the chat_types Registry are now only for player chat and not system messages

The game_info chat type and the system have been removed

Chat types have been simplified and are now only required to define chat and narration decorations

Chat types no more support overlays

Instead, you should use a system message to display overlays

The msg_command chat type was split into msg_command_incoming & msg_command_outgoing

The team_msg_command chat type has been split apart into team_msg_command_incoming and team_msg_command_outgoing

The team_name chat type parameter has been renamed to target

This chat type parameter is now used by msg_command_outgoing

The run_command command click event for text elements no longer supports sending chat message directly.

Only commands are supported

This means values now always need to be /-prefixed

Commands such as "/say that creates a signed player chat messaging message" are not allowed

Instead, you should use /tellraw

jukebox_play

jukebox_stop_play

The order of chat messages is now cryptographically verified

This is used by Player Reports to validate the context in chat messages

enforce-secure-profile is now defaulted to true for dedicated servers

Insecure chat messages are prefixed with a "Not Secure" tag

Servers can create their own auto-completion options to allow regular chat via a new packet.

Through a new packet, custom servers can hide player chat messages.

This does NOT delete chat messages from chat chat logs.
